LOOPY
Female. Approx DOB: 02/09. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport (ready for UK June 2010)
We rescued Loopy when she was about 6 weeks old from a car engine. I actually heard her little cry while I was in my own car sitting at traffic lights. It took me ages trying to get her out from the engine by lying on my back and reaching up inside but she kept going further in. After a good bath and lots of food she was like new again. Loopy must be kept inside the house at all times as she is insecure and needy. She also gets confused when let outside and gets herself in to dangerous situations. Very affectionate and gets on well with other cats and dogs.
KITTY
Female. Approx DOB: 09/07. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport (ready for UK June 2010)
Kitty was a stray searching the bins desperate for a good meal. A friend adopted her but then decided to leave Cyprus and leave her behind so we adopted her. She is a very quiet and affectionate cat that needs a quiet and loving home where she will get lots of cuddles. Gets on well with other cats and dogs.
GISMO
Male. Approx DOB: 03/08. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport (ready for UK June 2010)
Gismo was a little stray kitten desperate for a good meal. Gismo went to live with Kitty at our friends home until the friend left Cyprus and we adopted him. He has such a sad cry and just loves lots of cuddles. Gets on well with other cats and dogs.
CHILLI
Male. Approx DOB: 05/06. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport (ready for UK June 2010)
Chilli was a stray that wandered into our garden one day and never left. Very affectionate. Does not really associate himself with the other cats, but he puts up with the cat company, he prefers human company.
AUTUMN
Female. Approx DOB: 04/09. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport (ready for UK June 2010)
When we rescued Autumn she was very emaciated at 3 months of age. Lots of medication, food and love and she is now a very beautiful loving cat. She is very affectionate and gets on well with other cats and dogs.
SPECKLE
Female. Approx DOB: 02/07. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport currently being processed (ready for UK August 2010)
Speckle was dumped at the back of our house. She was very thin and had problems eating. The vet cleaned her teeth and now she eats very well and has put on weight. She is very affectionate and is a total lap cat.
BART
Male. Approx DOB: 03/07. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport ready.
Bart used to be a starving stray until he turned up at our door. Now he does not stop eating and because of this has become overweight. Although we try to feed him just his diet food it is difficult when there is other food around for the other cats that he will go and eat. He needs a home where he can be given a proper diet to reduce his weight. He is a quiet cat that adores affection but sadly we don’t have the time to give it to him.
BUMBLE
Male. Approx DOB: 05/07. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport currently being processed (ready for UK August 2010)
Bumble is a very big cat that has a big amount of affection to give in return for lots of food and cuddles! He turned up at our door yearning to be loved and we couldn’t resist him.
Dogs for Adoption
RACER – Siberian Husky
Male. 5 years old. Sterilised and vaccinated. Pet Passport (ready for UK June 2010)
We rescued Racer from being on a chain in a garden for 24 hours a day for 3 years of his life. Because of this amount of time with no exercise his back legs are now weak. He needs a home where a new owner can give him a lot of exercise to strengthen his back legs again. He may suffer from arthritis because of this. If left on his own he will just lay down all day long. He loves swimming which is also good exercise for him. He gets on well with cats and generally other dogs, although occasionally he will decide to take a dislike to a strange dog, so care and responsibility is needed when out walking him. He should also not be let off the lead as he can be stubborn and not come back when called, although he does tend to stay around (Huskies are well known for this as they know they can run faster than you!). He is a very affectionate and well behaved dog and is great with people. It is too hot for him here in Cyprus hence the reason we want to find him a home in a cooler country.
We wish to give a huge thank you to Anna of Siamese Planet and Neil of Seaview Designs who created this website for us and have given us so much support. They have really given us hope again and we cannot thank them enough.
